Submarine at night: These last couple months, Braden and I have been trying to decide weather to go on a helicopter ride around the island or a submarine tour at night. We had pros and cons to each. In a couple weeks we will be getting on an airplane to go home, so just get a window seat and we can see the island like that. But also, we have been going scuba diving and snorkeling so we have seen whats under the water. So for the deciding factor is that Braden has been trying to talk me into going scuba diving at night. But I was going to have a hard time trying not to panic and being under water in the dark with just a flash light..spooky! Submarine at night was the winner! It was amazing, we LOVED it! We went about 120 feet down. There were huge lights to make it able for us to see that deep at night. The colors for the coral were so vibrant and bright. This picture I took with my phone through our port hole window.
Movie under the stars: Each Tuesday night at Camana Bay (an outdoor mall, like the Gateway), they show a movie for free. You bring your own chair or blanket and a treat. We went for the first time last night. They were showing The Lorax, the new one that came out this year. But when we got there they told us that they weren't able to get the DVD in time so we watched the older Lorax that was made in 1972, which was 30 minutes long, then we watched Puss in Boots. Neither of us had seen it before and we liked it, it was funny!
Relaxing at the pool: Our manager at work, Chris, and his wife Aubrey went back home to go visit family and asked us to watch their dog and house while they were gone. It has been great again being able the have TV and internet indoors. They also have a pool that we have been using almost every day. On our day off we spent a couple hours at the pool relaxing, goofying off and enjoying time together.
Spending time on the Beach: We have been having gloomy weather for a couple weeks, but it has finally decided to clear up. The wind is still around which makes the waves big but we are just fine with that cause it makes it more fun to jump and play in the waves. I just hope that the wind and waves calm down by next week cause we called to make a reservation to scuba dive a ship wreck next week and they said if they waves dont getting smaller we can't go. :(
